In this topic, you will see how to create a shortcut to the UWB.
Steps:
The UWB requires internet browser version IE10 or higher.
From the Internet Help Menu, click Help.
Step 1The What’s New in Internet Explorer 10 listed on the menu displays the IE version.
NOTE: If you do not have IE10 as your browser version, please submit a Service First request for installation upgrade.
Click the Close button, to close the internet browser.
Step 2You MUST BE connected to the First American network in order to access the UWB.
Step 3Access to the UWB can be made from either a desktop shortcut or an internet browser favorite.

The UWB web address is http://uwb.firstam.net.
Step 4Right-click in a blank area of your Desktop.
Step 5A shortcut menu displays.
Point to the New menu.
Step 6Click the Shortcut menu item.
Step 7The Create Shortcut dialog box opens.
NOTE: The URL can also be manually typed into this location.
Right-click in the Type the location of the item: field.
Step 8A shortcut menu displays.
In this example, the UWB web address has been copied to the clipboard.
Click the Paste menu item to paste the UWB web address you copied to the clipboard.
Step 9Click the Next button.
Step 10You can enter a new name for the shortcut.
In this example, enter "UWB".
Step 11Click the Finish button.
Step 12The UWB shortcut displays on the Desktop.
Double-click the UWB shortcut.
Step 13The UWB home page displays.
Step 14You have now seen how to create a desktop shortcut to the UWB.
