Steps:

  1. The Collaboration locations covered in this training are:

    My Collaborations Tab

    Collaborations Button Within a Transaction

    Email Alert Link

    My Transaction and Content Alerts

    Step 1
  2. In this demonstration a Transaction will be used from the My Transactions tab on the Home page.

In this example, click the Yellowstone Apartments link.

    Step 2
  3. From within a Transaction, a Collaboration button is available, which also reflects the number of Collaborations that are available for the Transaction.

To access Collaborations, click the Collaboration button.

    Step 3
  4. All available Collaborations are listed in the Collaboration List.

Each Collaboration reflects the following information:

    Title Description

    Type (Internal or External)

    Started By Party

    Number of Replies

    Last Post By Date

    Last Post By Party

    Step 4
  5. Select the Collaboration Title to access the Collaboration.

In this example, click the Need Restrictions Reviewed link.

    Step 5
  6. The Collaboration opens.

Next, access to a Collaboration will be made from the My Collaboration tab.

    Click the Home button.

    Step 6
  7. From the Home page, click the My Collaborations tab.

    Step 7
  8. Accessing a Collaboration from this location will open the Collaboration directly.

In this example, click the Yellowstone Apartments link.

    Step 8
  9. The Collaboration opens directly.

If the email alert is set for Collaboration Notifications in user preferences, an email will be received.

    Step 9

  10. The email is received from the Underwriting Workbench, not the creator of the Collaboration.

The body of the email contains a Link to the Collaboration in the UWB, along with the communication that was entered in the Description field of the Collaboration.

Contact Information for the individual that created the Collaboration also displays.

    Step 10
  11. Replies to Collaborations should not be made by using email reply.

Access the Collaboration within the UWB, which will retain all correspondence within the Collaboration.

    Step 11
  12. From the email alert, use the Collaboration Title Link to access the Collaboration.

In this example, click the Need Restrictions Reviewed link.

    Step 12
  13. The Collaboration referenced in the email alert opens.

All replies should be entered directly in the Collaboration.

    Step 13
  14. Email alerts will be received from the Underwriting Workbench, if a Reply is made to a comment in a Collaboration that you are a Participant in.

The name of the party that replied is in the email message, along with a Link to the Collaboration in the UWB.

    Step 14
  15. Click the My Transaction and Content Alerts icon.

    Step 15
  16. The Transactions and Content Alerts icon allows you to see if you have any new Alerts. The number of Alerts displays next to the Transactions and Content Alerts icon.

    Step 16
  17. Tabs at the top of the list of Alerts enable you to access Transactions Alerts or Content Alerts.

    Step 17

You have now seen how to locate a Collaboration.
