Agent Cancels a File


Concept

In this topic, you will see how to locate and manage a cancelled Underwriting Request that was generated by an agent  from within AgentNet.


Steps:

  1. Agents can cancel an Underwriting Request from within AgentNet.

     

    The request will automatically generate an email notification to the Group or Individuals who were a party to the original Transaction in the UWB.

    Step 1
  2. The action of the Agent canceling an Underwriting Request from within AgentNet does not automatically mark the Transaction as cancelled in the UWB.

     

    The Transaction will need to be manually cancelled.

  3. In this example, the Transaction that is being cancelled was assigned to you.

     

    From the My Transactions tab, locate the Transaction that is being cancelled.

     

    Click the Jurassic Park link.

  4. Click the Notes menu item.

  5. From within the Transaction Notes field, the System Note will reference the date and time the Agent cancelled the request.

  6. The Transaction will need to be manually cancelled in the UWB.

     

    Click the Decisioning menu item.

  7. To cancel the Transaction, click in the Decision field.

  8. To view the Final Decisions options, click the scrollbar.

  9. Click Cancel from the list.

  10. A note that the Agent cancelled the request is entered into the Internal Notes field.

     

    Click in the Internal Notes field.

  11. In this example, enter "Agent cancelled UW request".

  12. Click the Save Decision button.

  13. The Transaction is now cancelled.
